Reflexology...What is reflexology?

Reflexology is the manual application of pressure to specific areas on the feet or hands in order to rebalance “energy” within the body and stimulate natural healing processes.

All parts of the body are said to be “reflected” in the feet and hands and stimulating relevant areas is said to influence the corresponding organs and systems.

Reflexology is a safe and natural therapy that can:

Reflexology is suitable for all ages and may bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

What happens at a Reflexology session?

The reflexology session will generally last 45 minutes.  However, the first session is usually longer as your medical history* will be reviewed to ensure that a personal treatment is given, tailored to your needs. 

You will then be seated in a reclining chair, and your feet will then be examined with some gentle relaxation techniques applied.

Following this, further manual pressure will then be applied to reflex points on your feet. This encourages your body to function better, by increasing blood flow and removing any deposits and blockages in your energy zones.
